We’ve made the difficult decision to shut down Splash Pro permanently. This FAQ page will answer most of your questions around our decision and how it affects you. If you have any further questions, please contact support@splashmusic.com.

Why are you shutting down Splash Pro?

It’s been an amazing adventure since we launched Splash Pro 8 month ago. We sincerely thank all of you for your support and feedback on our generative AI tool and sharing your creative journey with us. As much as we loved bringing this product to life and being blown away by your creativity and incredible musical creations, we have decided to shut down Splash Pro.

Our focus as a company is evolving, and we are strategically focusing our resources on exploring more ways to bring the magic of making music to everyone. We're already hard at work on our next project, and we can't wait to share it with you soon.

How long will I have access to Splash Pro?

If you’re on the free tier, you’ll have access to Splash Pro without interruption until 22 April 2024.
If you’re on a monthly subscription OR an annual subscription ending before 22 April 2024, you will shift to the free tier once your subscription naturally lapses. Any auto-renewals you set up will be cancelled.
If you’re on an annual subscription ending after 22 April 2024, you will be able to use Splash Pro on your current tier until 22 April 2024. You will be refunded for the remainder of your subscription period. Eg; If you have 3 months remaining of your subscription after the shut down date, you will be refunded for that 3 month period.

I am a paying subscriber. How do I get a refund?

If you’re on the free tier, you’ll have access to Splash Pro without interruption until 22 April 2024.

What will happen to my data?

You will not be able to retrieve any data including songs after the shut down date. All user data (account & billing details, recorded songs etc) will be permanently deleted within 31 days of the app shut down. For privacy and security reasons, we are unable to retain any of this data.

How do I save my music?

Go to your library to see a history of the music you’ve created. You will have to go through each track and manually download the ones you want using the download button provided.

Will I be able to access or use Splash Pro after 22 April 2024, if I forgot to download anything?

Unfortunately not, which is why we’re giving you plenty of notice. Start downloading now!

Can I still post and share the music that I made with Splash Pro after the shutdown date?

Yes you can! The good news is that your license will remain intact. Therefore you can post your music to any platform and monetize your music as long as it abides by our Terms of Service. Please note, even though you can monetize your songs, you CANNOT copyright or ContentID any music you create with Splash Pro. Is my license still valid? Can I monetize the music I created with Splash Pro even after the shutdown date?

Yes your license is still valid and you can monetize music you created with Splash Pro, even after the shutdown date. Therefore you can post your music to any platform and monetize your music as long as it abides by our Terms of Service. Please note, even though you can monetize your songs, you cannot copyright or ContentID any music you create via Splash Music & Beatmaker. I'm a Splash Pro Affiliate. What happens to my Affiliate account and unique link?

The Splash Pro Affiliate program will be shut down alongside Splash Pro. As of 13th March 2024, no new affiliates will be able to join the program. Your affiliate links will no longer track new signups. All pending and due payments up to 13th March will be paid out within a week. Please remove your Affiliate links from your content where possible. Thank you so much for your support and for sharing Splash Pro with your communities!

Can I help or donate to keep Splash Pro going?

Thanks for checking, but unfortunately not :( What you can do to support is follow our socials (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter) or sign up to receive emails from us so you can stay up to date on what we’re doing. We also have a popular music game on Roblox called Splash that you can play or share with anyone interested!
